Mark is Managing Director and Shareholder of Oakridge Training & Consulting – an international consultancy practice that specialises in Global Leadership, Team Development, Change Management and Coaching activities
Mark has over twenty years’ experience working in highly regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing, transport, oil and nuclear. Key areas of expertise include designing, delivering and implementing Change Management and Strategic programmes, Leadership Development, Team Effectiveness Facilitation and coaching of individuals at all levels. His main focus is working with companies to improve effectiveness of performance of leaders and managers in order to allow them to increase their impact on business growth, whether through reorganisation or in improving engagement.
Previously an Executive Team Member within Nuclear and the Engineering and Construction industries with responsibilities for areas of Human Resources, Learning and Development, Quality and Safety, Mark applies all of this experience to development interventions.
Mark has been at the forefront of the development and implementation of Human Performance and positive error management techniques in the nuclear industry which has gathered interest, and is being delivered across a range of other sectors. This has been supported with his article in the Nuclear Futures journal ‘Improving Safety and Business Performance’.
He is also a Practitioner in NLP and accredited to use a variety of psychometric instruments including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (I and II) the Transformational Leadership Questionnaire and the BarOn Eq-I instrument.
