Geoffrey Leigh
Following a rewarding career within the Department for Education and Employment, crafting policy around the national learning and development agenda, Geoffrey now focuses his talents on supporting organisations to boost their productivity and on helping their people to achieve the quality of life they want.
Geoffrey has a PostGraduate Diploma in Personnel Management (IPM), a Diploma in Training Management (ITD) and is an European Foundation Quality Model (EFQM) Assessor. An experienced Investors in People Practitioner, Geoffrey was involved in the initial design and subsequent strategic reviews of the Standard. He has supported many organisations in achieving recognition against the Standard and, perhaps more importantly, in realising an impressive range of business benefits: increased market share, higher profits, improved staff morale and retention.
As a consultant, Geoffrey continues to develop systems and processes to support successful business planning, cultural change, human resource planning, communications, performance measurement and organisational learning. Clients include both large and small organisations operating across private, public and voluntary sectors.
As a Certified Master Practitioner and NLP Trainer, he diagnoses, designs and delivers learning programmes reflecting leading edge learning technologies across a range of subject areas including leadership, marketing and sales, diversity, trainer training and financial management. He is also an accredited psychotherapist registered with the Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (NLPtca).
Geoffrey’s diverse experience affords him an “impressively flexible” delivery style, and, a trained actor, he brings to learning events an appropriate measure of entertainment!
