An innovative, outward facing communications director with successful international relationship building experience and a firm belief in collaboration. Simone’s areas of expertise include setting strategic direction, managing change, recruiting and developing teams. She is a gifted presenter and an insightful solution creator.
Simone was previously the regional director of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in the East of England where she designed and implemented a membership and recruitment strategy, initiated a dynamic IoD Ambassador group of 45 directors and led their staff and volunteer teams through national Transform Projects.
Additionally, Simone launched the ‘Enterprising Women in the East’ and ‘Inclusive Business’ conferences to encourage diversity and inclusivity across East of England boards and led as a strategic consultant to a local charity for their £1.5m capital appeal and expansion programme.

Johnson, Lenny Krayezelburg, and Logan Pearsall Smith, amongst others!Prior to working as a regional director for the IoD, Simone worked as the managing director for Cool Cat PR Ltd (a marketing and communications agency) and was head of fundraising for Interact (a mental health charity) and was the general manager for the Essex Air Ambulance.
Simone has worked internationally in South Africa and Hong Kong.
